dc.description.abstract | In this paper we describe how interactive visual analysis can be efficiently used to analyze a large ensemble of animal paths. Behavioral studies of animals are carried out in order to gain new insight in animal behavior, influence of drugs and various physiological processes. We illustrate how a coordinated multiple views system can complement conventional analysis and enable new insights in complex data. The newly proposed methodology is being tested with domain experts from University of Veterinary Medicine, and first feedback is very positive. Several illustrative examples based on data from more than 800 observations are presented. | en_US |
