Item A New General Purpose Method for Large Volume Production of Contour Charts(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) Cockrell, P RContour (iso-line) maps are used extensively by the Meteorological Office for both routine and research tasks. The techniques employed in a new FORTRAN subroutine (CMAP) for drawing such maps are described. The algorithm employed is raster based, suited to both scalar and vector processors and inherently device independent. In addition some normally cpu intensive operations such as contour shading, chart masking (eg. with respect togeographical areas) and isometric projections are natural extensions of the method requiring comparatively little cpu time.Item Report on the EEC Workshop on Certification of Graphics Software - Rixensart, Belgium October 1982(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) Brodlie, K.W; Pfaff, G.E.Item The European Association for Computer Graphics(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983)Item Implementation and Comparison of Different Presentation Layer Codings for Efficient Transfer of GKS Metafiles(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) Duce, Dr D AItem GKS-Implementations Overview and Inquiry(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) Enderle, G.Item Geography Algorithms Project(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) Milne, W JItem Elections(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) Duce, D AItem News(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983)Item EUROGRAPHICS 83 Preliminary Conference Program(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983)Item Graphics Standards: The Pace Quickens(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) Straayer, D HIn recent months the pace of standards development for computer graphics has quickened. One standard has been adopted, accepted, and has already demonstrated its effectiveness. Another has now achieved the status of Draft International Standard, and is becoming an American National Standard as well. Several companies have made public announcements of their support for standards, and there has been extensive press coverage. This paper shall attempt to place all of this activity in perspective.Item Image Handling - The bringing together of Computer Graphics and Image Processing(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) Edmonds, E AItem Automatic Contouring of Faulted Seismic Data Sets(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) McCullagh, M JThe theoretical basis for two alternative methods of structuring and then contouring 2D and 3D seismic data with faults is described. Both rely on triangulation systems, but one is more suitable for small memory computers, and the other for large memory machines.Item EDITORIAL(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983)Item Minutes of the Executive Board Meeting, In Darmstadt, 1982:12:1.(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983)Item EUROGRAPHICS(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983)Item Graphics Related Activities at NCSDCT, Bombay(Blackwell Publishing Ltd and the Eurographics Association, 1983) Mudur, S P
